Here at work we worked with a Unit stationed in Baghdad and sent them care packages for christmas. I would like to continue supporting units overseas and I have contacted the Major that was our POC for this. I asked him if he would like to be continuing the care package program, and I was wondering if anyone else on here would be willing to do the same. We could set up a monthly care package that we could sen out and they could divide it up amongst themselves. I'd also like to start a web page that's dedicated to the different units we support. So if you have any ideas, please let me know!!

I'm down to help out, let me know what you need. Money or whatever.

The way I was thinking about structuring it was either you could mail me something, and I'll put it in the box, or you could paypal cash to my paypal account for me to buy things that you can specify (cheaper - no shipping) for the carepackage or use towards shipping costs. I'd of course have pictures of everything, and the major, or any other POC for other units could send us photos back with the soliders/marines/seamen/airmen/coasties etc.. and we could have a pretty cool Units we Support page.
Just thought it would be a cool idea. Also, would be cool if we could get a coin exchange going on if we do end up making those coins :)

Cool sounds good, i'll actually start on the 29th if that's ok. Money is tight this Christmas with buying the inline pro rear end set up for the S.

I hear you, I'm gonna have to trickle it out until after I take care of a speeding ticket in a couple weeks.

What would be really cool, is one big item in the package, and then a bunch of smaller things (candy, books, etc.. ) but that one big item, like a portable dvd player or something, could be raffled off by the POC to the unit. We could include some cool custom MP.C raffle numbers and they could raffle it off there at the unit.

That sounds really cool. It would probably make it pretty fun for those guys. Chris i'll just give you cash and let you do with it as you please!
