Hello my name is Nick and I am stationed at McGuire AFB but will be PCS'ing to Ramstein, AB Germany in February. In October 2006 I traded in my 2004 Nissan 350Z for a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution SE. After test driving a IX I was hooked and bought one that day off the showroom floor with 6 miles on it. I took a few pictures that day in Lancaster, PA.

My first round of mods included a Buschur Racing turbo-back exhaust with high-flow Cat and Magnaflow muffler, MR Maniflod, MR O2 Housing, ARC induction box, Horse Power Freaks lower intercooler pipe and a Walbro 255 fuel pump.

After the standard bolt-ons were installed I moved onto supporting gauges. I installed my AEM Tru-boost EBC and AEM UEGO wideband in an Autometer steering column panel. Also I relocated my stereo and installed 3 Stewart Warners in a Gruppe-s gauge panel. I am very happy with these gauges but I want to upgrade them all to AEM digitals so they all match.

Next, I got Dyno-tuned at Philly Dyno Works. The Event was sponsored by JNZ tuning and I must thank both Chris and Alex for their excellent service. The tune included A/F, Timing, JDM IX RS Mivec map and a 5500rpm Launch Control making around 8-9psi. Also thanks to Ryan at Area1320 for the awesome pictures on the Dyno.

And finally the performance stats so far as of November 11 2007 are 333/287@23psi and a 12.50@111.99 w/ 1.88 60'. I am planning to do much better and will update accordingly.

Thanks for all the kind words! This site has alot of cool people/cars so I will stick around. The ARC intake is the shit until you have to buy replacement filters for it, they are $80 a peice and there are 2 of them but the sound of the spool-up is amazing.

Update: Car shipped out of Port Newark, NJ yesterday on it's way to K-Town Germany, should be arriving before the 14th of February! I am leaving shortly.

Thanks for the info but to be honest I will only need help for an alignment and tuning. Everything else I can handle. I have a tactrix cable and ECUflash so my tuner can tune me through my Email and I just flash the ECU with the finished product. Then make a couple logs and send it back for minor corrections. Gotta love the Evo!

Well he also knows people out there... Might be able to hook you up with some of the local car clubs and such... If you're into that anyway...

Car arrived in Germany undamaged, it just took a set of plugs. The roads here are perfect for the Evo! My drive to work is very interesting.

Nice looking car. The SE definitely has the best of both worlds ( BBS, seats, while keeping the 5 speed)
