Any aviators here? I m thinking of switching to be an aviator with the Army. Trying to find out more info. Thanks

Izve also toyed with the idea in the past. Always thought it would be pretty damned cool.
I don't think I'll be extending though, my eight years will probably be the end of the road. May '09 and I'm out.

Well I've been reading about becoming a pilot in the army and i guess it is more for Warrant Officers, so i guess i probably have to resign my commission, apply to be a Warrant Officer and then try n get my commission back.

I've always wanted to fly since i was a kid so if i get picked up i'll stay in 20. I was planning to stay and make O-4 at least and then retire

Yeah I would most def. go for the WO program!!! I wish the AF would bring it back, but they are too stupid to see it is a good thing!!!

There's a few WOs in my Reserve unit that are trying to get me to go WO.. I don't even know if I'm staying in yet..

well for me its more worth it if i become a pilot and WO otherwise i'll just be wasting my time and not be getting paid as much

Plus just being a pilot is cool.. regardless of rank or pay :D
